Uniform Guidelines for Officers on Duty
All officers must adhere to the following uniform guidelines while on duty. The uniforms are categorized based on the ranking and the nature of duty.
For All Ranks:
WA General Duties Uniform: This is the standard uniform to be worn by all officers during their general duties.
VIC General Duties Uniform: This is the standard uniform to be worn by all officers during their general duties.
NSW General Duties Uniform: This is the standard uniform to be worn by all officers during their general duties.
QLD General Duties Uniform: This is the standard uniform to be worn by all officers during their general duties.
For Constable and Above:
Constable Vest: Standard issue for all constables.
Formal Attire (Special Events Only):
Formals: Reserved strictly for special events and functions. Note: Wearing formal attire while on duty is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action, including a possible strike against the officer.
Weapon Restrictions
Officers are allowed to equip themselves with a selection of items from each of the following sections, ensuring they are prepared for a variety of situations while on duty. These items may be carried in the officer's inventory or stored in the trunk of their patrol vehicle.
Guns (Pistols Only):
Glock 17
Non-lethal Options:
Taser: For subduing suspects without causing permanent harm.
Baton: A hand-held impact weapon.
Pepper Spray: For non-lethal crowd control and self-defense.
Additional Equipment:
Spike Traps: For disabling vehicles.
Riot Shield: For protection during riots or when facing aggressive individuals.
