  1. Adhere to all AU:RP regulations, including those pertaining to in-game and Discord activities.

  2. Utilize the "General Duties" livery exclusively while on duty.

  3. Comply with all armory protocols.

  4. Exercise caution to avoid ticket misuse.

  5. Use of is optional for members of this server.

  6. While verification is not compulsory, it is recommended. Proceed to #bot-commands for verification.

  7. You must read the General Duties handbook before patrolling for the first time.

  8. Referring to Officers:

    • Commissioned officers are to be referred to as Sir or Ma’am, depending on their gender identity.

    • Non-commissioned officers should be addressed by their rank.

All officers are held to these standards when both in-game, and off duty.

Professionalism

  • Each member of the Australian Police Force is expected to act honestly and ethically at all times, preserving the reputation of the force, both in and out of uniform.

  • Exercise caution in all professional duties, ensuring safety to all operational guidelines.

Compliance

  • Familiar with and adhere strictly to all policies, procedures, and guidelines that have been set out for the respective duties.

  • Follow all lawful and reasonable instructions given by authorized Australian Police Force personnel without exception.

  • Abide by all laws, without deviation, regardless of duty status. This displays your commitment to conduct and following the law.

Respect and Confidentiality

  • Maintaining respect towards everyone reflects the Australian Police Force's commitment to fairness and equality.

  • Access, use, or disclose confidential information strictly as required by duty and permitted under Australian Police Force policies.

Conflict of Interest and Resource Use

  • Actively avoid conflicts of interest, promptly report any that arise, and cooperate fully in their management.

  • Avoid misusing position or resources of the Australian Police Force for personal gain or advantage.

Safety, Reporting, and Accountability

  • In threatening situations, officers are encouraged to take reasonable action to protect themselves and others, prioritizing safety within the bounds of the use of force.

  • It is important that officers report any observed misconduct within the Australian Police Force, ensuring officers are held to the highest standards at all times.

  • The Australian Police Force enforces strict compliance with the Code of Conduct and Ethics, ensuring a commitment to the highest standards of professional behaviour of officers at all times.

Breach of Code of Conduct and Operations Policies

Identification and Reporting

  • Any instances of policy violation must be immediately reported through a ticket within APF so a member from our Internal Affairs unit can assess and come up with the issue.

  • Thorough documentation of the breach, including details of the incident, video clips, and any potential witnesses, is vital for an effective investigation.

Investigation Process

  • Upon receipt of a breach report, an initial assessment will be conducted to determine the severity and authenticity of the claim.

  • A designated investigative body or officer will be tasked with conducting a thorough investigation into the breach, adhering to procedural fairness and confidentiality.

Consequences and Penalties

  • Depending on the severity and nature of the breach, disciplinary actions may include warnings, reprimand, suspension, or termination of employment.

  • In certain cases, restorative measures might be taken to rectify the consequences of the breach, including reparation or public apology.
